When we think of the nice weather, we want to go out and enjoy it. Oftentimes, we are at a loss for ideas. Or, our budget is limited. An easy and enjoyable weekend afternoon can be had by going to festivals or fairs.
These events are a great way to see a town, buy a gift, support artists and enjoy street food. Bring a friend, the kids or even the dog for the afternoon. Local shops and restaurants usually participate along with other community groups. You will likely find a band or DJ to amplify the excitement and a bouncy house or face-painters for the kids.
Looking for some custom woodworking, handmade soaps or unique jewelry? No doubt you find something interesting--often at a good price. Do you love cotton candy, empanadas, pizza, specialty sandwiches or ice cream? Most of the events will feature food trucks and local proprietors with expansive options.
